I met the face of this years festival Lucy Bayet (seen below in an amazing red sequined Couture-Love-Madness piece). She was so lovely...with a great sense of humour!

Exploring Government House was so exciting, entering each room was like walking into an art gallery over and over again....

Funkita Swimwear: Pixel Mix Collection

Exactly one week ago, Funkita Swimwear launched their new Pixel Mix Collection and they sent me a one piece from the collection to try out....

The piece they sent me is called 'Primal Night'. The colours and patterns on this one piece are so flattering on the body, the geometric lines contour the body shape perfectly!

I found the fit was really nice on my body, and since the fabric is chlorine resistant it will last a very long time.

Not only is this swimsuit perfect for the water, but I think it works well under a sheer shirt and jeans, a pair of shorts or a skirt, in the daily wardrobe, because it is so comfortable and trendy.

Samantha Jade exclusively for Diva

Two of Australia’s hottest divas have teamed up for an exclusive collaboration that is sure to be this summer’s biggest hit! Leading fashion jewellery giant diva has produced a stunning accessories range with singer- songwriter, Samantha Jade.

Samantha Jade was the winner of X-Factor Australia, 2012 and has since gone on to produce chart topping hits and a hugely popular Australian tour. Samantha Jade is known for her distinctive glam-rock style that effortlessly combines elements of pop and glamour for a unique, girly look. Her striking yet refined approach to fashion is the ultimate fit for diva who are loved for their playful, on-trend accessories. Samantha Jade has adored diva since she was a teen and even spent her very last $15 on a statement neck piece from diva for her x-factor audition! This collaboration was the perfect fit for both Samantha Jade and diva and has resulted in a collection of truly covetable designs.

The collection has strong geometric design, subtle tribal influences, dramatic studs, stones and triangle motifs. The triangles are prominent in many pieces, directly referencing Samantha Jade’s logo to give the range and element of consistency. With its chic blend of pretty vs. tough, the Samantha Jade for diva collection has something for everyone.

The Samantha Jade for diva collection will hit stores nationally from
29th October. This exciting new collection is priced from just $6.99 - $34.99.

DIY: Glasses Mask

Start with a piece of white card/paper (a rectangle that is a few centimeters bigger than the size you want the  finished mask to be), fold the rectangle in half and draw half of the shape of the mask on one side with the middle on the fold side, while folded cut the mask out, and cut out holes for the eyes....and you will get something like this.....

Get a pair of old glasses (I have used a pair of 3D glasses from the movies) and pop out the lenses

Cover the mask in glue.....

Sprinkle some glitter over the whole mask (I used gold but you can use any colour!).....you will have to repeat this step a few times to get full coverage

Once fully covered in glitter, leave it to dry (preferably over night)

Decorate the sides of the glasses with anything you can find...I used sequins, but you could also use gems, glitters etc

Then stick the mask onto the glasses frame and leave to dry (preferably over night)

And there you have it......your glasses mask is complete!
