Msquared Charity OpShop

Msquared's 2012 fundraiser was an Op Shop held at the Reading Room. From the sales of clothing, cupcakes, raffel tickets and donations, $450 was raised. From the money raised, educational supplies will be donated to underprivilaged children in China and Sri Lanka.

Rundle Mall SS12 Fashion Parade

We were invited to watch the Rundle Mall SS12 Fashion Parades on Friday the 21st of September. We were lucky enough to be seated in the front row and catch a glimpse of all the looks from a range of brands available at Rundle Mall 

Host Lisa McAskill, welcomed everyone with excitement, and after some special mentions, she introduced the special guest performer to the stage.....

Sarah Lloyd opened the show with her powerful voice.....

We were dazzled by sparkles, bright colours and flowy fabrics

Sarah Lloyd closed the show with a beautiful performance, she sang amongst the models as they did their final walk down the runway  

The night ended with some special thankyou's to all that had made the night a success.....

This years spring/summer season is definitely going to be filled with colour, pattern and sparkle!

PARK(ing) Day

On the 21st of September...this Friday....the Reading Room, on Hindley Street, will be participating in PARK(ing) Day!

Park(ing) Day started in 2005 and has now become a global movement. The mission of PARK(ing) Day is the bring attention to the need for more urban open space, to generate critical debate about how public space is created and allocated, and to improve the quality of urban human habitat!

If you want to participate...or just to see what all the fuss is about.....go down to the reading room on Hindley street this Friday, not only will you get to experience the joys of PARK(ing) day, you can also do some shopping for a great cause!

Msquared Charity is having their annual fundraiser at the Reading Room this Friday, this year they are having an Op Shop.....everything will be under $10!!!!
