FUNKITA Swimwear: We the People

Funkita swimwear launched their newest collection on the 16th of January.

 This new collection called 'We the People', "draws on the anti-establishment sentiment of years gone by with digs at the corporate machine. At the same time, it celebrates our connection with the natural world with numerous prints focusing on the flora and fauna we share the planet with.

 This juxtaposition allows Funkita to keep their trademark use of colour and print while carrying an important message of individuality and strength."

I was sent this amazing one-piece, and I love it! I allready own a piece of funkita swimwear from an earlier collection, and their quality is truly superb!

This fits like a glove and the cross over design on the back adds so much to the look as well as shapes the body amazingly...

The colours are so vibrant and remind me of the beaches in Sri Lanka. I look forward to accessorizing this piece and heading down to the beach for a swim asap!!!

Adelaide Beauty Bloggers Social Meet

 As some of you may allready know, I am apart of an amazing group of girls known as the Adelaide Beauty Bloggers. Every month we meet, and for our January meet we gathered at a Korean restaurant called Seoul, nestled away in a side street within the city of Adelaide.

This meet was different to others that we have had in the past in that we were fare-welling one of our blogger friends, and it was also the meet where the head of the Adelaide Beauty Bloggers; Celeste, was stepping down and handing over her massive task to some of our other blogger friends.

It was my first time eating at this restaurant but I highly recommend it, as the food was delicious! I tried a stir-fry chicken dish with steamed rice.....YUM!

It was so nice seeing all the girls, but it was quite sad to say goodbye to Sherry (seen below), as she takes her journey overseas, but we wish her all the very best!
